Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School celebrates Class of 2020 valedictorian Rose Casolari. Casolari is a very involved student at Lakes, a member of multiple clubs including National Honor Society, Student Council, Film Club, Drama, and more. She is a three time CHSL Scholastic All-Catholic, WXYZ Brightest & Best nominee.
Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School celebrates Class of 2020 salutatorian Owen Abbott. Abbott is a member of both the National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society and his favorite subject is History.
Andrew Schneider may have only been a Laker for the last two years, but you’d never know it. Andrew’s kind heartedness and genuine compassion for others made him a perfect fit for the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School class of 2020. During his time at Lakes Andrew has participated in football, track, film club, and is a member of NHS.

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School celebrates multi-sport athlete Macy Senerius. A Laker since fourth grade, she has played basketball, volleyball, soccer, and even tennis. Earning All League, All Academic, and All Catholic athletic awards, Macy also excels in the classroom.
Yan Yu, better known as Jessica, started her sophomore year at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School. After her junior year, she took a year off and returned to Lakes for her senior year. Mrs. Ribits was delighted to have her back in the classroom:
“Edward Rapa is an amazing soul the likes of which Lakes may never see again. He has a unique spirit and is dedicated to every cause he becomes a part of. This is a student who arranges his day to drive a fellow student home and then come back to the school to tutor another student as part of his NHS commitment.
Kyle Cartier was in a unique situation in high school. Since Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School resides in Oakland County, our students have the opportunity to attend Oakland Schools Technical Campus in their Junior and Senior years.

“Joe Keith has been a Laker from the start, entering Our Lady of the Lakes in preschool! In his early years Joe participated in football, basketball, and baseball. However, as he got older, he discovered his love and gift of working on cars; a gift he freely shares to help those around him. Joe is always very generous with his time and talents. He has an impact on all those he encounters! Joe is very smart and gifted but does not seek the limelight, he has a quiet confidence that is refreshing!”
Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School celebrates Duhyeong Kim. In two year, Kim got a taste of playing Laker athletics as well assisted in the planning of new murals for school.
Abie Pennington has been at Our Lady of the Lakes since the first grade. Those who know Abie know what a kind and caring person she is and how she always keeps a smile on her face. Her warmth and optimism can be seen by her favorite quote from Henri Mattisse, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”
“The first words that come to mind when describing JackSimonetti are kindness, integrity, and humility. Jack is kind to everyone, true to his word, and desires no acclaim. He goes about each and every day with a smile on his face and caring words for all. Jack has a very strong but gentle manner. He is probably not aware of the positive impact he has on those around him because this is just who he is.
