Grant Ross has been a student at Our Lady of the Lakes since Kindergarten. He has been involved in athletics all throughout his years at Lakes and played football and basketball in high school. In fact, he has been the Lakes starting quarterback for all four years of high school.
Jack is a good student and I believe school comes quite easily for him. But Jack becomes most competitive in the arena of organized sports. Whether playing football or baseball, Jack’s passion lies in the ability to run, jump, roll in the grass, in other words to be on the athletic fields. Jack loves to play sports and is considered a very formidable opponent.
Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School congratulates Anthony Mersino of the Class of 2020. Mersino joined the Laker family in second grade. He quickly joined in playing football, basketball, and baseball during his time as a Laker.
Griffin Kaminski has been a student at Our Lady of the Lakes since he was in the 7th grade. He has played both football and baseball during his athletic career here at Lakes. His senior advice to underclassmen is “Don’t be ineligible.” While a student at Lakes, Griffin’s favorite subject was Team Sports, but his favorite teacher is Ms. Zaleski who says about Griffin, “He’s a great kid! While math isn’t his best subject, he always strives to make me proud by doing his best.
Isabelle Kline joined Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School and the Class of 2020 in fourth grade. The tennis and basketball player also is a part of Recycling Club and has joined a Drama production or two.
Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School celebrates the multi-talented Rachel Ferguson. If you’ve been in our building, you’ve probably seen the hand lettering work of Rachel in the middle school hallway or in Mr. Kullman’s office. Rachel has talents across the board she is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society, played 4 years of tennis, earned the Society of Women Engineers Marie Curie Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics, Student Council Vice President, and coordinated Red Cross Blood Drives.

The Homeschool Families group at Shrine Parish educate their children at home.
