The Our Lady of the Lakes Economics Class had the opportunity to go to the Motor City Casino in downtown Detroit on November 15 and interact with many influential business people. The Detroit Economic Club put on an informative and interesting presentation for the class.
On Saturday, November 11, OLL Robotics 5th grade team, The Water Warriors, competed in the First Lego League tournament at the Michigan Science Center in downtown Detroit against 22 other teams from throughout Michigan.
The 7th grade students again attended the Junior High Vocation Awareness Day on October 10th at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit. Fr. Scott and Fr. Brian joined us at the seminary to support and encourage vocations, especially to the priesthood and consecrated life.
The Lady Lakers Cross Country team concluded their season this past Saturday, November 4 at the State Final meet held at the Michigan International Speedway. The early morning race was crisp, but dry as 244 of the State’s best Division 4 runners stood at the starting line.

Our Lady of the Lakes Varsity Volleyball team fell in the first set 20-25 to Everest, but came back strong to defeat them in the next three 25-15, 25-15, and 25-11.
