Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School has answered the call to educate our students from a virtual platform. With the help of the Holy Spirit, our staff has been an instrumental force in continuing to educate all of our students remotely. Parents have stepped up to help their children to continue to be responsible for great accomplishments with their school work, and students have been engaged using this style of learning; though they would all rather be back with their friends!

Not only am I a teacher at Lakes, but I am also a parent. I am so grateful that our students are all equipped with school-supplied Apple iPads. Our students are familiar with their iPad devices and their applications which made transition to virtual learning seamless. As a math teacher I can record video instruction and review pictures of students’ work. As a parent, I am so pleased that Lakes’ teachers are continuing to teach my child new material each week just as if we were all present in the school building. My students and my own child will not be falling behind.
-Terry Zaleski, High School Math Teacher, Laker Parent
Come be a part of this incredibly special place. Can’t wait for Miya to become a Laker. You should check out why it’s the best fit for your family too!
-Jeff Glynn, Alumni and Head Football Coach
To the teachers, you have arguably the hardest job in the world which has only become harder during quarantine, so I want to say on behalf of the students at Lakes that we are unbelievably grateful for all your hard work these past few weeks. Not only have you kept us students on track but your continuous effort and support is an inspiration to all of us.
-Rose Casolari, OLL Class of 2020
When you are a part of Our Lady of the Lakes, you aren’t just another student or another number. You are a part of a family and a strong close community where we all support and know one another. We are close friends beyond classroom walls.
-Jennifer Robak, Parent
So glad to be part of our Laker family – especially during these difficult times.
-Katey McGowan, Laker Alumni, Parent
The amount of work [the teachers] do to prepare these students goes unnoticed but is greatly appreciated! As a mom with 6 kids, with my last one now a senior, we are grateful! You are what makes the reason to send a student to Lakes.
-Carol Casolari, Laker Parent
