Dear Prospective Families,
Thank you for your interest in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School! The Admissions portion of our website will give you all of the information that you need to apply to Our Lady of the Lakes. As you become familiar with our school, we hope you will note a few things:
We are a Pre-K through 12 Catholic School and a family campus! Our parish and school offer opportunities for your whole family. Learn about our traditions and opportunities here on our website.
Our early childhood program offers developmentally appropriate activities and learning opportunities in a warm and nurturing environment. All students are engaged and grow with a rich Catholic faith experience daily.
The elementary offers an enriching curriculum that challenges students to explore and excel in all areas. Our students are encouraged and supported as they strive to be the best version of themselves while they lay the foundation for the next level of education.
Our unique middle school model gives the sixth graders a primarily self-contained classroom environment. They are taught certain subjects by our middle school teachers, have specials classes (gym, art, music, etc.), and spend a majority of their time learning most core subjects from their homeroom teacher. The seventh and eighth grade students are combined into the same classrooms for core subjects and electives. Theology is separated by grade level, and math is taught at four levels according to our students’ individual needs. Our middle school teachers work to build a strong community of students while preparing them for the rigors of high school, all while keeping in mind their age.
Our high school is student-centered, and we seek to foster self-advocacy in our learners. Lakers, as a community in faith, are mutually committed to growth towards service and academics, college and real-world readiness. We provide opportunities to our students that will prepare them to network, engage in problem solving and advance with confidence in any area of their choosing. We offer small class sizes, student interest based electives, Oakland Technical, AP Courses, resource room, ANCHOR Program/non-public school plans and an array of online classes.
We are a Catholic parish community forming disciples and our faith is woven into the fabric of our school.
While our school takes its identity from the parish’s Catholic tradition and faith, we welcome students of all religious backgrounds.
We celebrate the blessings of our talents in all that we do spiritually, academically, athletically and through the extracurricular activities that we offer.
Our families, faculty, staff, and alumni know that Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School is truly remarkable and unique. Our mission is inter-woven in every lesson, Mass, and situation we face. We are deliberate in all that we do to ensure that our students are disciples through Catholic Tradition, personal discipline and academic excellence.
It is important to me to develop a strong working relationship with each family that expresses interest in Our Lady of the Lakes. Please contact me for more information, schedule a tour and/or shadow day at this amazing school in Waterford!
God bless,

When you are a part of Our Lady of the Lakes you aren’t just another student or another number. You are a part of a family and a strong close community where we all support and know one another. We are close friends beyond classroom walls.
We feel so absolutely blessed to have our children at Lakes. It truly has been a life changing experience for all of us. The tight knit relationships between staff and students is one of a kind. Our children no longer feel like just a number in the school system but rather an intricate part. We have children that get up in the morning and are actually excited to go. Please keep up all of this incredible work and connection with our children.
Beyond academics, Lakes has been the partner my husband and I were looking for to foster the values we try to instill from home; respect and integrity. They demand it and support us in providing the self-confidence and self-awareness we feel is needed to be an honorable young adult today.
