Our Lady of the Lakes fifth graders learned that there really is no ‘I’ in team. They recently got a preview of Camp Tamarack, a beautiful, picturesque 1,250 acre camp in Ortonville, before their 3 day trip in the spring.
Students worked through the Group Initiatives and Team Challenge program during their day trip. Team worked together and communicated to solve a series of challenges. These important skills carry over into the classroom, helping them become critical thinkers as well as effective problem solvers and communicators.
It was a beautiful day for this outdoor educational experience. Praise the Maker, it’s great to be a Laker!
