Got Your 6 Tuition Discount
This tuition discount is available to active U.S. military and veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who have been honorably discharged, as well as police officers, sheriff deputies, and firefighters. Eligible recipients receive a 25% tuition discount per family off their total tuition bill. Download the application for the Got Your 6 discount for the 2018-2019 school year here.
Our Lady of the Lakes Family Discount
Families with multiple children enrolled at Our Lady of the Lakes are eligible for discounts on tuition. The second and third oldest students will receive a 5% discount on tuition. The tuition rate for any additional students in the same family will be $350.
The children of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic school alumni are eligible for yearly discounts in tuition. The Alumni Award is $500 off of the total tuition for students in grades K-12. $500 limit per family. Download the application for Alumni Discount for the 2018-2019 school year.
Archdiocese of Detroit Tuition Assistance Program
The Archdiocese of Detroit offers tuition assistance to eligible families. The application is currently available for the 2018-19 school year. The application must be completed by April 30, 2018. TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)
How TRIP Works
Families purchase TRIP gift cards and use them instead of cash to shop at the stores or restaurants they normally frequent. Hundreds of grocery, gasoline, retail, restaurant, online stores and more participate in TRIP. You receive dollar-for-dollar gift certificates to use at your favorite places and each store donates a percentage of the total purchase to OLL. PLUS, 50% of the percentage received by OLL is earmarked for your family to help reduce your tuition bill for next year. During summer months and special times during the year, families can earn 60% or even 70% of this percentage!
How to Sign Up
Packets with registration forms are sent home at the beginning of the school year to parents. You can join anytime. Additional packets and registration forms are available at the school office and the parish center. You can also email TRIP@ollonline.org for information.
Ways to Order/Earn TRIP Credit
- Drop orders and payment into the Sunday collection basket at church.
- Shop online at shopwithscrip.com.
- Email your order by 5:00 pm Monday to TRIP@ollonline.org. Make every attempt to drop payment off at the parish center by the next day.
- Purchase gift cards for a select number of retailers at the school reception desk during normal school hours or at the parish center after 3:00 pm and on weekends. These are cash-and-carry cards limited to the inventory we have on hand.
Other Scholarship/Tuition Assistance/Financial Aid
In partnership with Oakland County Credit Union, Our Lady of the Lakes was able to offer $6,000 in scholarships for current students enrolled for the 2017-18 school year. Interested students submitted an entry to the credit union through OLL. A scholarship committee at the credit union reviewed all the entries and determined the winners, one per grade, preschool through 11 Eligible applicants must be a member of OCCU (membership is available with a $5 deposit) and must be enrolled at Our Lady of the Lakes for the current and following school year.
