Jan. 23                 Euchre Tournament - PTG fundraiser  6:30 pm St. Joseph Hall

Week of January 25th:     Winter Spirit Week ending with an informal Winter Dance

       Mon.  Jan. 25      Get and Go Day  (students may wear comfortable clothes and slippers)

       Tues. Jan. 26       Dress Up Day (HS Mass Day, please dress up)

       Wed.  Jan. 27      Movie Character Day  (students dress as their favorite movie character)

       Thur.  Jan. 28      Career Goal Day (students dress in their dream career apparel)

       Fri.     Jan. 29      Blue & White Day  (students wear blue and white spirit apparel)

                                  6th & 7th hours will be spirit assembly and Powder Buff Volleyball Game

       Sat.    Jan. 30    7:30 pm - 11:00 pm  Informal Winter Dance

                                  (it is requested that students wear clothing above jeans and below formal)

Jan. 31                  Open House 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Jan. 31 - Feb 6th    Catholic Schools Week

We would like to acknowledge all the students who organized and participated in the Memorial Services for Kelly Scheuer and Josh Freeman.  Both services were very special to the students and to the families.  We are proud of our students for their expressions of love and loss.  May Kelly and Josh live forever in our hearts.

MME
Juniors are administered the Michigan Merit Exam (MEAP and ACT) March 9th thru 11th, 2010. We will provide more  information about this years MME testing as the date gets closer.

ACT Testing
The next ACT test date is April 10, 2010 for Juniors. The registration deadline is March 5th. Check the web site for future dates; http://www.actstudent.org/regist/dates.html

Oakland County Credit Union Essay Contest Winners
Congratulations to the Oakland County Credit Union Scholarship winners; Jensen Walker, Luke Stillman, Jessica Ludlow, Christian Bodenmiller, Shannon Long, Allison Avery, and Sarah Nuss.

NHS and Student Council
The new NHS Officers for 2009-2010 school year are: Co-Presidents Madison Embrey and Alissa Reddy; Treasurer Tom Lochbiler; Secretary - Samantha Topolewski;  Historian Katie Fisher; Parlimentarians - Jenna Stoutenburg and Erin Wisely. The NHS Advisor this year is Ms. Elisa Noeske.  NHS Convocation is scheduled for October 28th at 7:00 pm in the St. Joseph Hall.
